Welcome to CVS Brown Group Blog

We are students at the CVS Highlander Charter School in Providence, Rhode Island. We are a class of 15 students. We are in science class exploring blogs for the first time and we'd like to tell you about some of our experiences in science and school. The unit we're working in now is on vision and eyes and some of us just started working on solar powered car construction. Sometimes we go on nature walks by the West River and on a recent walk we found the skeleton of what we think is a rabbit. Last year we found a snake. We're very interested in looking for the signs of spring. Our latest find is the nesting of Red Winged Blackbirds in a wetland. Today, Malik brought in a squid project that he constructed out of chocolate brownie, frosting and Twizzlers. We'll try to add it in a later post. Harold adds that we have madagascar Hissing Cockroaches in the classroom. From the books, to the classroom, to the outdoors, we're always trying to work well together and to have fun! :)
